《公共管理碩士專業(yè)英語》教材是東北大學(xué)MPA（公共管理碩士）系列教材中的一部，是MPA學(xué)員學(xué)習(xí)專業(yè)英語，提升專業(yè)英文文獻(xiàn)的檢索、閱讀能力和國際交流能力，開闊專業(yè)視野，拓展專業(yè)知識(shí)的重要參考書。
教材大體按照公共管理涉及的基本理忿和理論，政府，非政府組織，公共政策過程，一些具體公共政策以及政府公職人員的行為規(guī)范分為6個(gè)單元，每個(gè)單元開頭都有關(guān)于該單元內(nèi)容的簡介，方便讀者對(duì)該單元內(nèi)容進(jìn)行整體把握。《公共管理碩士專業(yè)英語》內(nèi)容皆選自與主題密切相關(guān)的英文原版閱讀材料。
每篇文章都由三部分構(gòu)成，即材料文本、討論的問題和詞匯表。這樣的編排有利于學(xué)員在整體上閱讀和把握材料，深入思考和回答其中的問題，掌握公共管理領(lǐng)域知識(shí)的專業(yè)英文表述，也節(jié)省了學(xué)員查閱單詞的時(shí)間。
